we are being told the world is coming to an end does any one beleive that or is it rubbish

I believe with all of my heart that the Bible is correct, when it says that this world will perish. If your not ready when it happens you will perish with it.

Yes it will end eventually, but we won't be expecting it.
All good things come to end and there are a bunch of predicitions about asteroids and other space things that will swipe off countries.
Also, just like the Bible talked about not being able to tell men & women apart, hurricanes, floods, mudslides; all of those things are happening. We have women that look like men (butches), hurricane katrina and all the others, those mudslides in california, flooding all over..
Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. If you're a good person, nothing bad will happen to you when the world ends.

No. i do not trust such garbage. They reported the global may end on the turn of the perfect century besides, and we are all nonetheless right here. it would not remember. this entire project will blow over once 2012 passes, and then some years later anybody will be fretting about another date in time even as someone says the global will end. that is all a group of meaningless foolery.

Rubbish. The world will be here forever. Revelation is a nice story though. I wonder when they are going to make the book into a movie?

The bible tells us that we are in the 'end times', this was first mentioned after Jesus was crucified, and we are now in 2006. The bible also gives a description of what will happen in the end times (see book of revelation) and wars, earthquakes and other natural disasters are mentioned. It also says what will happen after the world has ended with a new ' Jerusalem' being raised up.

just look around us....species of animals disappearing daily, wars, weapons, criminals, pollution, we forget to laugh, to smile to be good and kind, to help people, we don't have time for friends, all we care about is money.....the thing is going to destroy us....in fact we are going to destroy us, money is just a manner of doing this...after all i said....i think you can come to a conclusion...the world will find her ending...but not because it's written in the bible, but because we have an amazing capacity of self-destroying....it's a shame...but it's the truth.....

I haven't heard this. If it is a little chicken and he says the sky is falling, that is just a nut. He has been doing that for AGES. I generally don't listen to chickens anyway.
