I am fairly laid back about most things, but I do have a breaking point on certain subjects. Not violent, just annoyed and angry. What gets to you?

O.K
Shop assistants that are downright rude.
Bus drivers who think they are Michael Schumacker, and slam their brakes on all the time.
people trying to sell me things on the phone!

Well not being a particularly laid back person, i have a few buttons that are quite easily pushed, the normal things like racism, bigotry, sexism, ignorance etc. but i think there are two main things that are bound to get fireworks from me, any form of bullying, school bullies, workplace, relationship bullies, any kind. and the second is ignorance about rape. the whole "well she was wearing a short skirt and was drunk" kinda thing. why people can't learn that rape is about power not sex is beyond me. and don't even get me started on this countries low rape conviction rate.

Rant over...

well you did ask... i said i wasn't very laid back.

oh and you're the only one who hasn't revealed what yours is!!

A lot of things get to me. I don't like to resort to violence either, though, and I don't et really mad, just a little annoyed. I'm a gigantic perfectionist (mild exaggeration) so little things bother me a lot, to the point of major annoyance. Partially because for the most part they're things I can't change.
I once saw a typo in a novel and it annoyed me a lot. Somehow it slipped through the cracks in the editing process... when the author was putting something in brackets, got messed up and was printed as (.... --. What really bothers me now is that I can't remember where I saw it.

Anyway, the types of people that really bug me would probably be bossy people who think they're the greatest, rude people, prejudice people, and those who can't seem to let go of their cell phones when you're right there.

The snapping element, imho, is the element of 0 tolerance of the status quo. the element at which one's suggestions get deluded, physique gets numb, spirit denounced, and self-worth is at its minimum. that's the element at which discomfort start to have yet another scope, that would inspire one to be a cutter or a killer, or a suicidal.. that's the element of detachment from the real international, and suitable then, one might seen lifeless whether he become nonetheless respiratory. Your poem, expresses such factors skilfully in a poetic tone. I accept as true with you that no undertaking could be tabooed in poetry. although, poetry has its aesthetic factors that would stir the readers' enthusiasm to rouse what has been examine, and your poetry bears a great deal of those aesthetic factors.

Rude people...talking on the cell phones 1 foot away from me..on the bus or in a line in a store, etc...hate that.
Prejudice of ANY kind.
People that only know how to talk politics (that they hear on right or left wing extreme tv & radio...idiots)
Clerks in stores that can't make change or say thank you.
Stupidity in general.
That's 'nuff...but there's lots more..who cares? The world is full of imbeciles...let's leave it at that.

since i'm usually a complacent person, it's not so much one particular thing that breaks the even temper. . . it's an unrelenting series of things. so, an 8am saturday morning telemarketer call on its own isn't enough. pile on a couple others (strategically timed for as soon as i fall back to sleep), my car breaking, the coffee spilling, an argument brewing, etc. and you are definitely getting closer! i'll keep looking for it to improve. . . and when it continually doesn't, that's when things start crackling!

I hate liers, cheats, fraudsters, anyone that tries to con people by appearing to be friendly when in fact they are out to hurt people. I also hate arrogance and people being rude to me on the phone, part of my job is answering a busy switchboard, and some people never take calls, I hate it when people shout at me because I can't force someone to speak to them in person.

Things don't go my way, or life seems to be unfair, or if I lose out on something I want. Get heartbroken by a crush. So-called friends dump you.
