I suppose that would depend on your tastes and what you want to get out of it. None of them are easier than the others. They all take practice and perseverance.
Piano is a great instrument for getting grounded in music theory and can take you in many directions musically.
The bass guitar is great if you are interested in playing popular music. It is the one instrument that hold ensembles together. Good bass players are worth their weight in gold.
The violin is a great instrument for soloing if you like to be the out front person. It's been used in every genre of music.
No matter what you decide, take advantage of this opportunity to learn some music. It will expand your mind. Good luck.

Violin. Definately. Piano is very hard to learn, and bass guitar never gets much of an interesting part in any song. (When you play in a group, like a school band.)

I would go with bass guitar. If you know how to play guitar, the bass I think is a little bit different because it only has four string(the are thick!) and you would need an amp. And pick. The usual.

I'd personally go w/ Bass guitar. Reletively easy to learn, we'll it will be a challenge at first. The lessons are great though, especially if they are free. But, hey if you like the bass, you would have a great advantage in learning an electric guitar. That's if guitars interest you. I love, absolutely love to play guitar. Plug in, Turn up, and play loud!

It depends why you want to learn.
You need to know the answer to that question before you choose.
Any instrument will enrich your life. If you dedicate significant time to it.
Would one of those instruments be easier for you get access for practice ?
Do you know anyone who plays one of those who you might be able to practice with ?
I think piano/keyboard can be easier to start with because the keys and music are right in front of you....so no physical contortions are need to make it work.
Also consider, if you can, who the teacher is and how big the class is.
