completely write the words in your own style and way. Do not use any of what it already has in the sentence or paragraph, unless you put them into quotes.

Come to understand that plagiarism is both intellectual and some times physical theft also

The individual does themselves no favors or value by stealing
other peoples work...

It can bring down an individuals own(opinion of ) self worth(they would know they are a thief.....)there for would be a fake ...who would want that .?

And of course it would lower the confidence level of the plagiarist..( I cheated.. I am not what you think I am attitude )

Don't write anything! ...No, seriously...I think the main idea here is "original" idea(s). Be very specific and detailed when writing. It is hard to duplicate complex thought patterns in text by chance. Simple ideas are not as safe. So, be careful. Paraphrasing is also plagiarism if proper credit is not given. Document everything correctly. Ask your English teacher if there is anything he/she can add to help you with this issue.
Hope this helps. :)

Read the material. Stop every so often and, without looking at it, write down what you think are important concepts on a 3X5 card. After finishing the material, write your paper. Check for any exact wording and change it to your own wording.

You must still give credit, even if you paraphrase (rewrite) someone else's words. If you don't, that qualifies as plagiarism.

Always, always, always give credit for ideas and words from others.
