Where you would put an url address right above that there should be an empty space with no icong for anything such as msn messenger or your browser history righ click in that space and a little white window should come up, now click down at the bottom of that little white box it will say customize click on it. Now on the left side of the window that comes up after clciking customize it will say available toolbar buttons: and then it will have a list of available buttone scrool through that until you find your back button. Once you find your back button clcik on the add button in the middle of the window it shpuld now show up now click close. I hope this was somewhat of a help to you and that you got your back button back also hope I didn't confuse you.

For now, right click anywhere on the main frame of the browser (apart from a link) and select "Back" from the menu.
Try closing the browser and re-opening. If it does not re-appear then follow the advice above to add it back manually.

right click on that bar along the top (the bar which the back button usually is on) then click on customize, the back button should be in the left column, scroll to find it if need be, then click on it and click add, then 'ok' it! :)
