Did he take the money while you were married? If so, how can that be stealing? In a marriage, isnt what each has also the property of the other?
The best answer that I can give is this. Christ says that divorce is only acceptable in the case of your mate cheating upon you. Otherwise, you may divorce but are to be celibate from that moment onward.
I wont say that a lot wont disagree with this, but then that doesnt matter. Gods word is Gods word, regardless of peoples view. I can also admit that I would probably hate his guts for stealing from me, but then I also dont know the circumstances, just the way you presented things.

Honestly, darling, life is too short to be all panicked about our ex's. Also, if he stole THAT much money from you then (1) you must be fabulously rich and would find it a relatively fine myriad of men to choose from, albeit the fact that many of them will be drooling over your money or (2) you have no money left, which gives you the perfect chance to open up and enjoy life; poor people are awesome and definitely the coolest to hang out with, not like a bunch of hoochie mama snobs!

That is up to you... If you love him and you feel that he will not steal from you then go for it. I personally, would not trust him again because if he stole from you, he is capable of doing alot worse. Married people is suppose to have trust in each other and I would not be able to trust him.
Do you trust him? If yes, then give him another try. If No, let him go and get you a good man that you can trust. You do not have to deal with a man like that.. (Good Luck)!!!!

Kathy,
you are a beautiful, successful, talented woman. Why would u consider taking him back ? Sex must have been great. However theft is a huge sign of disrespect. leave him in the gutter, there are many real men that would love to be able to date and some day marry u.

As much as our responses to that are, and I quote Whitney Houston: "Ah Hell to the NO!", it's really up to you. Only you know what you really want to do. If you do take him back, it's sad that part of you will be on your guard because of the money thing. But what ever you decide girl, we're, well, I'm behind you 100%.

Umm you have got to be joking. If not, HELL NO. Why would you want to be with someone who stole from you. Someone who ultimately has no respect for you or your property. Tell him to go eat s h i t. Move on and get yourself a better man!

Hell no.
Tell him your respect is worth more than 72K. You would have to see the money, think about it, and I would say Hell no.

You should already know the answer to that. If you really need to ask then you deserve each other! Let him steal again and again. Remember this: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!
