I am trying to write a story and want to get some confusion over first and last names (its a farce). Like for example how Ashley or Clare could be a first name and second name. But I am looking for other ideas too.

This is very commn in Chinese. People give the same first name as thier last name: such as Yu Yu, or Liao Liao.
