Well, try to get to know him first. And even though hes your friends brother so what! You cant help who you like and you cant help who likes you! But my advice is to see how he treats you and everything, dont just go up to him and say oh I like you! or youre really hottt or something like that. Just be his friend and see how everything goes from there.

Your friend seems like more of an aquintance. If your friend cares about weather you want to date her brother go for it. Otherwise don't your bound to lose a friendship.

I have gone through this same thing. I dated my best friends brother and it ruined our friendship. She told me that if we broke up then she wouldn't talk to me anymore and she hasnt' so don't go for it.

if his sister is your friend and she likes you, she wants you to be happy.
tell her you are interested in her brother and ask her how to best approach him.
she ought to be happy to help.
