It's got to be Modern Dance.
From Isadora Duncan, to Martha Graham, to Alvin Ailey, to Merce Cunningham to the new kids like Bill T Jones and Doug Varone - Modern Dance has brought a rare thing to the dance form -- depth and a point of view.
I'm a great fan of tap, ballet and jazz - they are presentational and entertaining. I like social dance too - hip hop, swing and the tango!
From the day Isadora rebelled and took off her corset and kicked off her shoes and danced across Europe and into the hearts of Russia, Modern Dance has echoed the other art forms more than any other. Embracing the tidal movements like minimalism, expressionism -- gosh, even the piece Parade had Picasso for a costume designer! No kidding!
Today, Modern Dance has expanded into site specific works that take place in Grand Central Station in New York, for example. It can be used as a political piece as well as an entertainment. The techniques used in Modern have been codified and then rejected as New Dance flows into the scene.
And ... it's been 20 years of my career and life.

Argentine Tango - (not ballroom Tango)
In fact, I just went to see Estampas Portenas' new show called Tango Fire last night. I saw 5 amazing couples doing choreograped Tango pieces (with aerials and all other kind of stuff) with live musicians. That was really cool. I also went to Milongas where things are a lot more chill and improvisational, which is even better than going to see a performance. Tango is just so free flowing, beautiful, passionate, and intimate.
Salsa is my true favorite though. I luv salsa songs (except for the lyrics) as well as dancing. If I didn't like it so much, I wouldn't be dancing for 5 years. I like how salsa is more relaxed compare to other partner dancing. It allows more creativity and imaginations to cuts it. It also allows you to enjoy the music and your partner.

My favorite form of dance would have to be ballet.
when i was younger i didn't enjoy ballet, it was simply something i had to take. I understood that ballet was the building blocks for many forms of dance. But i just didn't apply myself until about 2 years ago.
As of now i can't get enough of ballet it was like one day something just clicked inside me. My body became an extention of what i was feeling. The reason i love ballet honestly its no one thing, its so many things. The gracefulness of it, how every ballet tells a story. I know its repetive and should be easy but its not.
There are the people who can just automaticly do the correct moves, and then there are the ones like me who struggle until they get it right. The one thing i know is when i'm doing ballet i'm at my happiest.

Argentine Tango has captured me, you have to put your soul into the dance. I also enjoy mixing Argentine Tango and Ballroom tango when a Ballroom Tango song is being played (I'm an Argentine Tango purist when Argentine Tango is played, except for practice purposes).
Ballroom Tango came from Argentine Tango anyway, so what's an open fan/Ladies Underarm Turn amongst friends?
It you'll take a more general answer, I'll take "Ballroom" because it means "dancing with a partner" and that encompasses Salsa, Smooth (waltz, Foxtrot) and Latin, Argentine Tango... and swing dancing.

Middle Eastern dancing. For men, it's pretty similar to celtic dancing, just less kicking and more shimmies.
For women, bellydancing is by far the best exercise form around. It sculpts the perfect female body every time!

HIPHOP! It is the best kind of dance I have ever expierenced! It is so much fun learning and knowing the dances. It's hard learning the dances but once you kno it it is so much fun. I do it when ever I have free time. I make up dances by myself and I learn them. I do them like every second. If I was graded on not doing dances in the hall way, I would fail. If my LIFE depended on not donig dances I would barely make it!

Irish step dancing/Scottish Highland dancing
Because they are so awesome to watch, great exercise, not all about showing off your body, and the music rocks.
