Here is the only way I know of. Open a new window just any window will work just as long as it on the computer ha ha. Then in the upper right hand corner there will be three squares the two to the the left and middle ones will be blue. And there will also be a orange one to the right. Click on the middle one. The window should be bigger. Also on the internet if you want windows even bigger than that press F11. You will need to restart your computer so that evertime you open a window it will be maximized. You can change the size of the windows once they are open (using the maximize button, or just resizing) and the next time you use the program it will open at the last size you used it.
I don't know if there is a global setting.

When the new window starts, just go to the edge of it until two arrows appear. Then (hold) with the left click, move it and then when you finish, close it and open it again. If not, just click the maximize button and close and open again. When you write back, call me Mega Sonic, please.

put the mouse icon on the bottom of the
open window then hold down the mouse key
and move the mouse icon down
that will move the open window down

maximise the window then cross it to close. next time when you open window then it will be full screen.
