If they are in your house, buy some 20 Mule Team Borax and put it in one of the cheapy ketchup squirt bottles, you may have to enlarge the hole in the top a little, apply the soap around baseboards and under kitchen sink around the plumbing, leave it lay for a few days until you no longer see any signs of the ants, they will carry the Borax back to their nest and it will kill them. Vacuum up the excess laundry soap when you no longer see any signs of the ants, and use the rest of the soap to do the laundry. I have used this process for years and it works.

I'm not entierly sure on something else but i had a bad ant problem and my hunny mixed some water and sugar and put it outside our house and the number of ants went down alot they are after food and sweet things another thing i was told to try was peanut butter it will keep them outside then you can try to find where they are comming in from and fix the crack or hole or whatever it is.

Coffee grinds, the used ones. Vinegar and some peppers do the same job but don't not work as long.

Use it to break their trail from outside your house to inside your house. They use 'smell' to find where an ant found food. Coffee will make that smell impossible to track and they can not go into your house.

If they actually nest inside your house this will not work.

Yes there is here you are: to stop ants seal off cracks where ants are entering with putty or petroleum jelly and sprinkle red pepper on floors and counter tops.

I have been told that chili powder works. I have also poured boiling water into mounds of ants that were by the front door. Might try vinegar, too. Good luck!
