I suppose it could happen but the kid was only 3 and supposedly couldn't read...so how would he know to click on "buy now"? and isn't there other stuff you have to type in after making a purchase? (I don't remember).

I bought one on Ebay. Paid $2500 for a 1973 Mercury Marquis Brougham. Big car, powerful motor. Flew to Seattle, drove it back to Amarillo.

The main deal is to contact the seller via ebay email and also find out if he's sold a lot of things on ebay before.

Yep, i heard a news about that and i think accidentally purchase the car or maybe his mother really tried to purchase the car and she pass the accusation to her 2 1/2" year old son.

I think it was real. Stupid mother for leaving her password on the PC and the PC switched on. The dealer could have insisted on his 9 grand!

Easy to do.

I mistyped a bid once putting in my high number range as 300.00 instead of 30.00. (Scared me but I was able to cancel and redo.)
