Im also discovering that my hair is thinning and Ive always had the thickest hair! I dont know whats going on! Does anyone have any ideas?

Gotta go with the stress answer. Take more time out of your day for you to just breathe. Go to a park or the beach and just sit for a bit. Pressures of school and work - life in general - can be overwhelming but don't worry. You've made it this far and you'll get through tomorrow. Sometimes it's just one heartbeat at a time.

This may sound lame but the thing that always puts me to sleep is saying the first line of the Serenity Prayer, "God grant me the serenity." I usually fall asleep within ten minutes. You can't give up though. If your mind starts wondering just bring it back.

Having a friend you can trust and talk to that won't judge is always nice too, nothing like a good laugh or a good cry before you go to sleep. : )

For a while I had that same problem. I think what I did was go to bed later and do more exercise during the day so I would be more tired at night. If that doesn't work you should go to the doctor. Good Luck!

My best guess: stress.

A lot of your symptoms mirror mine and my wife's'.
We're stressed with work, stressed with child care, stressed out on house repair and financial issues.

We don't resort to alcohol or drugs to solve the problems.
We try to find time for sex (a GREAT stress reliever).
And we exercise when we can (another great stress reliever).
We also try to eat a well-balanced diet, small portions and not too late at night.

I'd go to a doctor. Get a phisical. Could be thyroid problems.

Do you drink caffine? It stays in your body for 10-14 hours, and can keep you up.

Sounds to me like you have something going on in your life that might be stressing you out...yes?
There are great medications out there that can calm raw nerves and help you get back on track.

did you recently go on birth control or off birth control pills? If so it may be hormonal. You may want to see a doctor about this though!
