Because people like getting things the easy way without having to think for themselves. (and I should know, since I'm a librarian and a lot of the questions I am asked take less than a minute to answer... kinda like this one, actually... ^_^ ).

even as I many times do seem them up, i visit each and every each and every now and then ask a question hoping to get more beneficial than merely an answer. i love to verify the own memories and bigger additions countless the more beneficial positive "answerers" include with the standard data. that's been enlightening at circumstances. i opt to sense the humanity behind the solutions. I savor studying about countless the peoples' lives and reviews. Granted, it doesn't ensue very typically - maximum individuals do not positioned that a lot attempt into their solutions, yet even as someone does - that's quite powerful.

Some people have very specific questions and when trying to find the information it is hard to wade through many things they do not understand to find just what is needed. The people here are very experienced and many times have more detailed info. They also answer in a way that is much easier to understand than some of the websites, and very often walk you through the process step by step.
Asking questions is what this forum is created for and I value it very highly. I also appreciate and respect those that use their time and knowledge to help me instead of just saying "look it up."
To those people who have helped me and others, thank you very much for taking the time and patience to answer my questions.

I think people are learning from a lot of our answers how to use the search engine. If we can get that across then we will be doing a good thing and helping a lot of people who would never think of searching.

We are basically teaching novices how to find out things for themselves.

Hope that helps.

Human interaction! We value the opinions of other humans more than we value a cold, heartless google/yahoo search.
