Have you thought it may be you?
ask to speak to her privately and express your concerns in a gentle manner. who knows you may turn into one of her best students

Think about what you want to say in advance. Tell your teacher how YOU feel when she does or says whatever it is that makes you feel badly. Tell your teacher how you want to feel and ask how things can change so you both feel good about you being in the class. If your school has a counselor, ask the counselor for help or to be with you when you talk to the teacher if you are uncomfortable.

Teachers are not permitted to swear at students, nor should students ever swear at teachers. If this happens, you MUST talk to the principal about this problem. This is a form of child abuse.

Think about your behavior. Are you being respectful and trying your best to be a good student? If not, be honest with yourself -- teachers are human beings and sometimes react to people -- even students -- just like you do, which isn't always good but is maybe understandable.

But it's a good thing that you are thinking about ways to make it better.

Are you saying teachers should let people do this in class? I don't get it - what would school be like if everyone was allowed to do that? If you asked a teacher to stop a friend from hitting and annoying you, would you think the teacher was nice if she didn't stop them?

The teacher might be a *****, but really does like kids and to teach. It is also possible that she is always just having a rough time and accidentally takes her anger out on innocent students like yourself.

I guess the whole writing on the board before class might work or type a sincere letter so that she can't tell who it is by your handwriting. In the letter, just explain how you feel about her attitude towards her class.

I don't think there's a way that you can tell her without being mean. Besides if you tell her she's mean, she'll probably be meaner or break down and cry. Usually people are mean for a reason. Some are just plain old jerks. Wait a second, she just tells you to shut up? She doesn't do anything else? Maybe your class was just being loud. But if she really is mean, I wouldn't say anything.

Your teacher is just a person, and she's just the way she is. She cannot (will not, and SHOULD not) change who she is just to suit you. Neither should you change who you are, except to become a better, harder-working, more respectful student. The more you do this, the more likely you will succeed in school, end up in a good career, and earn more money than you will ever need.

The easiest way to succeed is to get along with everybody. Even mean people.

to be honest, if she's cursing at you guys, ("shut the hell up," as you say) you should have a parent call. You could also consider talking to her supervisor or principal or talking to your guidance counselor about how to make the situation better.

Is your class really misbehaved? Are they out of control? If so, then she's just reacting to your bad behavior. Maybe if you guys are well-behaved and nice, she won't yell at you.

But, if you are well-behaved and nice, then you need to either speak to her boss or have your parent call.

report this to the principals office and have several students tell the office also. or:
write her a letter asking her not to swear and use bad language or to yell. if the teacher wants control of the class , then they should control their anger and not be abusive . have all the students sign it and on the very bottom write
copy: principal [put name of principal]
parents of class room [number or title of class]
before giving this letter to the teacher, make copies of this one for each student [to take home] and one to the principal. i advise you to give the letter to the principals office first and then leave the teacher a copy of it on her desk. if she yells or threatens any of the students, just walk out and go straight to the principals office for help...just because the teacher is a adult, does not give them the right to be abusive to students she in charge of. students have to right to be treated with respect and be talked to in a kindly manner...
