sure either cut it and glue in a coupler or install a rubber fernco fiiting. it is a 5 minute job to do it thre right way don't use a patch kit as others sudgested

Yes. There are patch kits that wrap around the PVC pipe and glue into place. there are also expandable pipe repair products that I prefer over the other. The best way is to take the pipe out completely and replace it at the bends or corners where a new seal can be made. you can get the appropriate connectors at the hardware store where the clerk will also be a good resource.

No patch is permanent. PVC drain pipe and the few tools you need to work with it are so inexpensive that you should just replce the damaged section.
