We enjoy music because it sounds good to us. It relieves stress by making us focus on something else. Our brain thinks the music is a reliever, so it might go to rest.

music has played a part for many many many years. it has helped us get through our everyday encounters. it relieves stress by letting your emotions out when you hear a particular song. keeping your emotions bottled in will make you more stress. music will relieve you from that. i dont know how everyone enjoys music but i enjoy it bc i listen to every type of music. my moods change everyday. that is how i know what to listen to at a particular moment.

Well they say music soothes the savage beast.

Probably has a lot to do with harmonic tunes, like chakras, when put together can soothe you or it can make you hyper. Music feeds into your mind body spiritual consciousness.

Think of crying babies, mums or dads hum to them or sing quietly to them and eventually they settle down, relax, and go to sleep. It's like putting a crying baby on top of a dryer or taking it for a long car drive to get it to go to sleep, it's the rhythmn and the comforting soft sound .
