Okay, well, after reading everybody else's answers, I guess I should feel like some kind of dirty nasty person. NO...I do not always wash my hands before I eat. I've known my hands for quite a while now, and I always know where they've been, and what they've touched, and in that knowledge, I feel perfectly content in knowing when I need to wash my hands. Now, if I am cooking or serving food to others, then, yes, I do always wash my hands.

honestly, it depends on what i was doing before i go to eat and what im having.
like i'll wash my hands if im eating like finger foods or if i just came from outside or if i just touched an animal

Yes, I also wash my hands every time I come home from any public place. My mom bred this into me and I hardly ever get sick, so maybe it helps.

yeah i was forced to as a kid and its just a habit now-not that its a bad habit. ive seen people playing with flea infested muddy dogs and then eat food with their hands seconds later eww
