You can spray them off with a moderate spray from a garden hose--plain water. As mentioned, soapy water is an option but you can't do it forever because you might end up with too much detergent in the soil.
You can get a bottle of Neem Oil from a good L&G Center. Bonide makes one called Rose 3in1 Rx. It is just oil extracted from neem seeds--no poison. When you spray it it coats the aphids and suffocates them. The benefit of Neem is it also has some fungicidal properties so it can help ward off some diseases, like black spot. After use you just wash your hands like you would after handling other extract oils like saffron oil or corn oil.

use one part soap ten parts water.. this really does work.. make sure when you spray the plants to get the underside of the leaves too.. lady bugs and praying mantis love aphids too.. you can also go out with your garden hose and just spray the plants down.. this does have to be done on a dally basis, but it does cut down the amount of aphids in your yard.. congrats.. you are smart not to be around poisons!!

Lady Bugs eat aphids, but you can't count on them to be where you need them. The only other thing I know is to spray your plants with water to get them off. This will NOT kill them & you will have to do it every day or so, because they WILL come back.
The only way I know to get RID of them is to kill them with spray. Is there a friend or husband who could do this for you????

There is a product by the name of safers soap on the market. It is basically soapy water. This will kill any aphids and most bugs on plants.

Lady bugs eat lots of aphids. Or if you wish, you can try spraying them with soapy water. That should help get rid of them.

I have an organic garden, and I use garlic, it works great- and they don't come back for months. Either plant it or turn it in to a liquid spray. That way you don't have to worry about getting it on the bottom of the leaves

Yes, as has already been said: Neem oil is the way to go. I've used it many times. Thie first time, I'd just finished spraying and my husband came out and said... "Why does it smell like doungnuts out here???"
