I have a friend who has recently gotten married by the courts to her 18 year old boyfriend and she's 20. Her boyfriend lied to her about his identity and age (he told her he was 20 and told her a name that wasnt his real name). Yet she married him as soon as he turned 18. Now they are about to have a kid together and she works at Kmart and he works at Ralphs does this sound ok to you? And if not what should I tell her?

She knows that he lied to her about his name and age cause she found out through work (they used to work together) and he told her he was planning on telling her after they got married, he seems suspicious to me...plus theyve been dating for 8 months

He said he lied about his identity because he has a warrant out for his arrest for street racing or something, and he also lied about his parents who were actually his aunt and uncle. Him lying about his age was because he was afraid she would reject him.

i would say she was ,lying from the very beginning is not a good start to begin a relationship with let alone a marriage, i would try to be there for her when her house comes tumbling down

seems like that would raise a red flag to me. Since you are concerned about your friend, tell her your concerns. You might not be able to change her mind about things but at least you told her how you feel. Just be prepared for her response.

It's kinda her life so she can do what she wantss, at least they have jobs and plan on supporting thier child instead of living on welfare. If she's a good friend you'll be supportive, let her know your concerned but be happy for her if she is happy. :)

It's her life, and if this guy really is up to something then it's her mistake to make. Besides, you don't know the full story- he may have had good reasons to do what he did. It's not really your business.
