I suggest you tell your hubby to give you a massage and then soak them in warm water and just relax for a bit before you head out, maybe you can wear some cute flip flops or even slip ons that are cute.
Good Luck and have fun at the charity event tonight.

I hear what everyone is saying about being comfortable, but flats never look "dressed up" to me. If you can't to a high heel, try a low heel. But flats are just so granny looking to me. You might as well show up in your easy spirits with opaque tights on.

Wearing heels on "hurting" feet is akin to old practice foot binding in China.
Mark it up to the price of beauty.
Why pay that price? Do yourself a favor...Flats would feel much
more comfortable, and they would not look "stupid", in my
opinion.

Hey, you've got an image to uphold, so wear the high heels and tough it out. When you get home, treat yourself to a footbath with epsom salt and some body wash. Add your favorite wine (for your ingestion, not for the footbath) and you'll be all set.

Heels to the event, but that doesn't mean they stay on the whole time. Especially with the long table cloths you can kick them off when sitting to dinner or sitting to chat or sitting to listen to presentations, etc.

High Heels!
They make your legs look fabulous so you'll not need to worry about your sore feet because some gorgeous hunk will whisk you off your feet anyway!

You should wear a pair of nice and classy ballet flats. Your feet won't hurt as much and you will look good too.

If there is alot of sitting wear heels than keep them off when you are sitting down. If there is alot of standing wear flats. That's what I do :)
