The volume should be 5.5 or wherever the liquid line falls on the line between 5 and 6. Most likely 5.5mL if it is between 5 and 6 exactly or looks like it.

milileters/centimeter and liters, are the measure of volume of a liquid. otherwise calibrated as cubic centemeters of distilled water, at i believe 20*c. since volume changes with a change in temperature.
