Probably not yet. Most doctors will wait 1-2 weeks after your due date (provided there is no trouble with you or baby) before inducing labor. If you are not dialating yet then that says your body and the baby are not quite ready yet.
Also, the chance of a succesful induction goes way down if your body is not at a certain stage in effacement and dialation. So I wouldnt force the issue with your doctor unless you want 30+ hours of labor. Though any good doctor won't let you force the issue.

most good doctors will wait abit and if it looks like you are two weeks over due and they have checked that they have not miscaluculated the due date then they will induce labor. I know it seems like you have been pregnant forever and can't wait to get it over with but most babys will come when they are ready so be patient and this time next month you won't even remember what you felt like now. I am due Saturday and last time I was checked I was not dialated yet either. I was induced during my last pregnancy and can feel it being the same this time. (Last time I had preeclampsia so they had to get the baby out on time and I was a few centimeters dialated when they did it). They will probably let you go another week or 2 depending on the size of the baby and your health. FYI they did give me pitocin to bring on stronger contractions, but did not notice any additional pain after they did this?
