No you're not particularly small, men's sizes range from around 3 to 8 inches, so 5 should just about average. However, 'normal' sizes depends on your racial origins & country. i believe that average for the US is less than that unless you're black

Yeh, dude, it's rather small. But some girls like it better than the 13 inches that I have. Believe it or not, I've had girls turned off by my size, so really, don't worry about it too much. Be happy with what you have.
