I have a macbook pro, my keyboard and my trackpad and clicker are unresponsive. I plugged in a wireless mouse and the mouse worked, but the keyboard is completely unresponsive. I called mac, and since I have a policy, they are going to fix it for free, but I was wondering what the exact problem was, and if it is even fixable or if I’ll just get a new one. Once again, this is a Mac, not a PC. This poses a problem because I cant get into my administrative profile, so I cant change any settings. I think an outside keyboard would work because the wireless mouse worked. If someone could give me some advice, I would appreciate it.

You probably had static electricity on your hand and it probably zapped most of your computer and messed things all up even if you get back into your computer your settings may not be the same and you definitely did the right thing. I hope this is somewhat of a help to you.

U have done the right thing. Send it back and let MAC/Apple repair or replace it while it's under warranty.
