Which is better? I believe both organizations have ballot initiatives this year. If Smoke Less Ohio passes then all of unconstitutional those municipal and county building smoking bans will be overturned.

I prefer Smoke Less Ohio because it will change Ohio's Constitution. Bar and Restaurant owners will no longer have to fear going out of business because of liberals in their city or county banning smoking in all buildings.

how do they have no control over it? if you don't want to work in a smoking environment, or if you don't want to eat in one, thats your choice. if more people choose non smoking resturants, then there will be more non smoking resturants. thats how the market works. no need for government regulation or private bussinesses

Scientific fact - smoke causes cancer. Why should non-smokers and non-smoking employees be subject to something that they do not have control over. Smokers are rapidly becoming the minority in this country.

Smoke Free Ohio does not ban smoking and it is not a constitutional amendment. Bars and restaurants can still have a smoking section, however it has to be outside. Smoke Free is supported by the American Cancer Society and many others. The text of the law can be found at http://smokefreeohio.org/oh/about/ourlaw.aspx

Smoke Less is supported by the tobacco companies. So they go for the constitutional amendment so that they can outlaw any anti-smoking law.

I hope smokeless goes down in smoke.

The best is to repeal all restrictions on use of a LEGAL product. Those of us who don't like smoke don't have to go places that allow smoking. Vote with your wallet.
