Wal Mart is cult like. When they see their paychecks maybe they think they are helping the cause.
I used to hate Wal Mart. They opened up a Wal Mart Neighborhood Market by me, and it is very nice and we save a lot of money. So Wal Mart helps a middle class family like mine and must really be a big help for the poor people, so Wal Mart helps many people with their prices. I still can't handle going in the regular Wal Marts though, its depressing. I spend a little more and go to Target, which is like Neiman Marcus comparatively speaking.
And lastly, its a free country, if somebody doesn't like the puny paychecks, get another job. I realize some people may have little employment choices, so get a part time job, or further your education.

As an ex-employee, I would have to agree. I worked for 5 years with Wal-Mart, and the pay sucked. The insurance was not worth what they charged. The insurance just payed medical bills that I had 6 years ago. Also, when new employees get hired, and Wal-Mart decides to change their starting pay, employees who have been there awhile, do not get compensated. For example, I worked with a lady who had been there for almost 15 years, and I was making more than her, but an employee who just got hired in, was making more than me, even after my yearly pay raise. But I know people who love Wal-Mart. I grew up in Wal-Mart country (the place where home office, and the first Wal-Mart was established), and there are people there, that think the world of Wal-Mart.

Walmart wanted to hire me for 6.45 an hour and I graduated college!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And had a lot of work experience and was an EMT!! So yeah LOW PRICES! EVERYDAY! And they are constantly rolling back their prices too......I feel bad for those that work at wal-mart and are trying to make an honest living and don't even get paid a living wage.

Yes, that 's true !!!
But you have all type of Buyers, Employees as well as employers. It is Shoppers who establish the Shopping Establishments, not the establishers. Establishers only initiate, the process.

Yeah, probably. I live in an economic cesspool of a town and Walmart is coming next year. People are excited. I think they'll soon see you are right.
