I am confused by the + or - settings on the back of clocks. If your clock is running slow...do you turn the dial toward the + side...meaning you want to speed it up...or do you turn it toward the minus side...meaning that your clock is running slow?

the + & - are for setting the clock ahead or back if the clock is running slow you need to change the battery

you use it to adjust a clock to keep time. if slow move it to the plus side a little at a time.
