last period date - aug. 25th, cycle 28 - 29 days.

I usually spot for 1-2 days before my period begins... but no spotting this time. I took test yesterday afternoon, was negative. I am going to try to test tomorrow morning again.

If you tested around 14 days, it would be more accurate. Your luteal phase is usually around 14 days (time from ovulation to period).

You can have several negatives before the positive will show up. Try not to go too crazy about it (yeah right...) and hang in there.

Possibly I would wait a couple days before taking another test. With my last pregnancy I tested neg the 2nd missed day of my period but tested pos on the 5th. When I tested pos it was very light on the pos. Everyone is different. Sometimes it takes a little while before the hormones are strong enough to show up in a test.

You could be but I doubt it. On a normal cycle you would ovulate about 14 days before getting your period which would be about the 8th of this month you had unprotected sex about a week later so I would say no your not but weirder things have happened. You would have had implantation bleeding or spotting about 7 days after you had sex which you said you didn't.

Why is everyone so "Go to the doctor". Its a pain in the you-know-what, expensive and its premature. Patience! If you're pregnant, you have either 10 months to prepare for a baby, or up to 12 weeks for an abortion. Stop fretting and wait until your body has had a chance to know whats goin on.
By the way...use a condom!

Home pregnant testing is not always accurate. See a doctor. If you are having sex regularly you should also be using something more than a condom. Condoms are for safe sex.

could be possible. but if the test said negative, just give it a day or so. It happens to me often, and me and my bf always have unprotected sex. When I take a test and it's negative, I usually start the next day, or day after.

No that is too soon. I work in a clinic and I get this quetion a lot, it is too soon to tell if your pregnent. Sperm can live in your body for up to 7 days after sex. And it needs time to fertelize your egg. So in a way maybe there is that slight possiblity that you can be pregnant, but in my opinion its too soon to tell. Good luck!

Umm, yes! Forget the home pregnancy test, go to the doctor. They can do a blood test, more accurate.

it may still be a little early for a HPT to accurately tell.. go to the dr if you are really concerned and he will be able to do a blood test... as the previous person said.. it's much more accurate.
