when i tried to download nortons free 30 day trial it said my computer needs to be windows 2000 or better,I HAVE WINDOWS 2000, this also happened once before, how can i fix this problem, i have windows 2000 professional,

I think if you look agian you need windows 2000 sp3 for norton free version if you dont have service pack 3 it wont work

the free trial Norton anti-virus disk, might be damaged, try to reinstall it again, if you are having the same porblem then contact Norton anti-virus vendor and asked them to walk you through the process, but don't let them tell you it's your software program win 2000. You might want to download a free anti-virus portection from the internet, which will give you 30 days free trial.

1) back up everything important i.e. homework porn etc.
2) completely uninstall norton.
3) Restart
4) Attempt install of norton again.
IF IT FAILS
5) Reinstall Windows with a FULL Format
6) Re-attempt Norton.

Go 2 microsoft.com and perform a Windows update. This will allow U 2 determine if Ur ver of Windows is valid...{:-{}.

go to microsoft.com and update your windows 2000 to make sure it is current
