The bachelors in Pharmacy is not an acceptable degree to start practicing pharmacy in the U.S. Anyone graduating after 2004, have to have the doctor of Pharmacy degree to practice pharmacy. The degree takes two years of undergraduate study and 4 years of professional study to complete. For foreign pharmacists who want to practice in the U.S., they have to take the foreign pharmacists exam. That exam is very difficult. It is more difficult than the regular licensing exam.
