has anyone ever used hypnosis to ask their mates very personal questions like to see if they were cheating on them or not.

Hypnosis can't be used as a form of blackmail.
You have obviously never been hypnotized. When you are under hypnosis, if you are open to it, you are in complete control of everything you say and do. You are actually in a HEIGHTENED state of awareness. And if you don't want to say something, you won't.
hopefully, you have a GOOD relationship with your mate where you can communicate and NOT lie. Then you won't need tricks.

I think some old fashioned detective work would be good instead of hyponotizing. Find out where they are at certain times of the day if they don't want to tell you, you may have a cheater or it could all be your imagination! Be straight foward, find out!

Kinda a sneaky way to do that?! If they won't be honest with you without being hypnotized than why would you want to be with them anyway?!

If you anything about hypnotism, you would know that it doesn't work like that......
