go in chat rooms and say random things to get people talking - things that will stand out amongst all the other conversations going on, like for eg, 'oh my god look at this light bulb merchant singing in the rain'. People will start asking you what the hell you are on about and before you know it - the conversations are flooding in and your buzz button is ringing!!!!!

you can meet people playing yahoo pool. thats how i met a lot of people on my messenger. theres leagues and everything in there. i also play runescape, theres a lot of people there too.

well, noe good idea is try asking around on yahoo answers. like "who would like to be my friend?" they will them provide you with their sn which you can add.
