why can't they just use a condom or get birth control. There is this thing called a free clinic.,Planned Parenthood, something. I would rather that than pay all my taxes to support kids had by kids.. Sorry a little pissed today....

I believe the reason that they don't seek out proper birthcontrol, is because 1. they don't know any better 2. they are ashamed and or afraid to get the proper help that they need from a parent and or trusted adult. 3. they think I'm just 13 or 14 I couldn't possibly get someone pregnant. 4. Lack of Sexual Education 5. Parents need to start expressing to their children the consequences behind having unprotected sex, and help them to understand that it is okay for them to come and tell them anything. It is also a good idea that parents try not to overreact when their children approach then about the subject. Children are having sex at more young age than even 13, so Sex education needs to begin at home, at an even younger age. Kids are not sheltered in the way they used to be.

Since the age of consent is 16, it is basically illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to have sex UNLESS they have parental consent. Do you know of any parent that would let any boy have sex with their daughter... even if she is 18? I sure don't.

good point but if the education isnt stopping it it wont help them do it safely either

dont be sorry your damn right!!!! its becasue they think if they use birth control then ppl (dovtors, pharmacists) will know they are having sex..
