That would have to be Homer Simpson. He is classic, dumb as rocks and yet a loveable guy. Homer makes me laugh everytime I watch him and he's always got these great one liners.

My favorite character is Popeye, the Sailor Man. He is a simple hero. He reminds me a little of myself. Not very tall or muscular, but when the situation calls for it, he can became a super man! He does use fighting to sometimes resolve problems, but his fighter instinct comes out only when he is provoked. He would always tell kids to eat their Spinach to become big and strong. (although Spinach is getting a bad rap these days!) I have fond memories of watching Popeye on Saturday mornings. I loved watching it. I especially liked when Popeye was portrayed by Robin Williams in 1980 in a live action movie.
And who can forget "Popeye" arcade game from 1982. same creators as the original "Mario Bros." arcade game. I spent many hours trying to rescue Olive Oil from Bluto.
In 2004 Popeye celebrated his 75th Anniversary. Popeye has definitely stood the test of time.

For many years it's always been Wolverine. Because his voice, and he didn't want to fight, but when u get him mad. Ohhhh S___. You new he was ready to get down. And recently, I've started loving the one they call Goku. I don't know why, but sometimes I feel like I was Goku in another life. And I just love how they power-up. Best to characters ever. It's a tie. And I don't like all these new age sissy cartoons. That's why kids today are such punks.

Mr. Rossi - 80's cartoon bloke with his dog. They use to go on adventures all over the world - a bit like Mr Benn. Very classy theme tune too. A groovy 60's tune!!

Mr Crab from Spongebob Squarepants because he's voiced by Clancy Brown (who played the baddie in the first Highlander film) and the sheer randomness of this casting strikes me as very amusing.

Pinky and the Brain - because they are like the odd couple of toons. Funny, funny. Also Bugs Bunny with Daffy Duck - the comic timing these two cinematic geniuses have will never be matched.

Tweety Bird, I always thought he was a girl, but I think Tweety is so versatile. He can play the sweet little bird and the mischievous bird always getting at the cat, all in the same episode!
