Seriously, his lyrics are so limmerent and dark. In interviews his success seems to almost depress him and he feels like he is a sell out. Should we be offering therapy? Should we just stop listening to make him happy?

Personally I like the guy and his songs, and he is by no means the only singer out there telling the world about his own life, tragedy and gloom and doom
My favorite song of his is Bravery.

Some of his songs are actually pretty good, though. My favorite song by him is "You're Beautiful." I think that is a really good song.

It's possible he's bi-polar or similar, people who suffer from that can't really handle success very well.
