The WWE needs to do absolutely anything it can to strengthen their tag team division. With the release of Kid Kash today, there’s another tag team gone to the wall. Reuniting Shelton and Charlie Haas seems so glaringly obvious it will probably never happen. Sooner or later the Hardy Boyz will reform, it’s just a matter of time. Jeff’s solo run will be up soon and it’s not like Matt’s done anything since he dropped the ball after his feud with Edge. How the hell are you going to build a tag team division with teams like Haas and Viscera? There are some decent tag teams, on Raw at least. On Raw you have Cade & Murdoch, The Highlanders, Cryme Tyme will be joining the roster soon. Add to that Benjamin and Haas and the Hardy Boyz and you have a reasonably competitive division.
I think they need to do three things to make the tag-team division mean anything in the WWE. Firstly they must take the belts on Raw of the Spirit Squad. I like the Spirit Squad gimmick, and I give the guys props for making a gimmick successful that all the makings of a disaster. But having all five guys as champions is not working. Also the Spirit Squad never seem to defend the belts. They are always having singles matches or are involved in other, non tag team related, feuds.
This brings me on to point two. They need to keep the few tag teams that they have involved in tag team feuds. Cade and Murdoch feuding with DX and the Spirit Squad feuding with Ric Flair is killing the tag division. They need to get back to the time when the Hardy’z main rivalry was the Dudleys or even further back when the Hart Foundation would wrestle other teams like Demolition. You didn’t see Jim Neidhart branching out and having singles matches for two months in a program with a singles competitor.
Thirdly, I think they need to have, much like with the women’s title or the cruiserweight title, and put the tag team championship belt on only one show. The tag-team is so thin at the moment, by spreading it over two shows they are making it even thinner. The title doesn’t even have to be on only one show. They could just have one title and have the champions go from show to show feuding with different teams. As I mentioned earlier, with Cryme Tyme, The Highlanders, Cade and Murdoch, possibly a team of only two spirit squad members, the Hardy Boyz and Benjamin and Haas there would be some depth in the tag division. Add to that Kendrick and London, KC James and Idol Stevens and any other tag team currently on the Smackdown brand and you have even more depth and the possibility of having multiple tag feuds going at once. Having the champions go from show to show would also freshen things up as viewers may tune in to see where they would turn up next.

Yea probably. Wrestling is getting boring. Raw is pretty Decent at times but i can't even make all the way through smackdown. I miss back when raw and smackdown was my favorite show. that was when the rock, stone cold, the dudley boys, brock lesnar, kurt angle and all the other people was there to spruce the show up. i miss those times.
