Has anyone seen the documentary on the conspiracy theory about 9/11? What did you think about how the movie presented the info and what is your belief after viewing?
If you haven't go to google video search and look up 'Loose Change 2'

Yup...watched it and dug a bit deeper, into all kinds of links and information. I came to the conclusion that there are indeed some very good points and questions in loose change. But also some very weak points.

Among the strong points which left with me was the scientific evidence Prof. Steven Jones from Brigham Young University is presenting about how steel can nto melt from the temperature of burning jet fuel (I had asked myself that question before, being a chemist and remebering lectures about flame temperatures). He has a very plausible explanation. And then WTC 7 (was it 7?) - the little building which came down later that same day. There is no plausible explanation and further more the owner (Larry Silverstein or so) at that time admitted in a video that it was brought down by his crew. Somewhere in my older answers there is the link to all of that.

Now - although after looking up all kinds of stuff I believe that something is very fishy around the 9/11 thing I do not feel like digging into this any further. It is like for the dignity of the dead and the sake of all the victims of that day I do not want to speculate any further. I don't want to know, somehow. Just because there never will be answers. And digging into the dirt may be too painful.

Despite the fact that there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary and findings from a number of major investigations, there are those who just want to believe fiction like Loose Change. The author of that work presents ZERO evidence and a large load of conjecture, supposition, and outright guessing in it's place.

This will not go away because there are still people who believe in the Lincoln conspiracy, the Hitler conspiracy, the JFK conspiracy, etc. Some people just don't want to accept evidence because they hate President Bush. I wish they would decide if he is a total moron or the most clever magician who ever lived.

To have an event where thousands die on national TV in front of experts and then to manage the coverup for 5 years seems like a trick of momumental proportions. Does it not seem incredible to consider that if anyone knew of or suspected this plot that they could be kept silent.

Loose Change should be called Loose Canon.

I've seen it, and if i were gullible I'd believe the whole thing. I'm sure there are many half-truths or exaggerations, but there's no way that the whole thing can be factual- at least I hope not. The connections and coincidences are difficult to believe- not because they are outlandish but because it would be so terrible if they were true. I wonder why this movie hasn't generated more buzz than it has considering Michael Moore has such success with Fahrenheit 9/11.

For the accusations in Loose Change to be true would involve a conspiracy involving thousands - all of which are willing to committ mass murder AND none of these people has to this date whistleblown. Unlikely.
