I don't give a damn 'bout immigration n categories - ur question is verrry cute n straight forward... I liked it.
Y don't u plan the whole day in a big way - u can manage it even by staying cost-conscious...
1st of all wish her dot at 12 in midnight - with a card and that big kiss on her lips...
Wake her up in the morning with freshly plucked flowers...
Cook breakfast for her - it can be simple or just a bed tea with some snacks...
Wish her again in the afternoon on ph. frm ur office...
N then wen u return u can help her out with the dinner n then u peops can have a candle light dinner on ur terrace...
Think of it - u gifted her a beautiful day.

the gift would be, you never again think of given her something cheap, this would get you a transfusion after she butchered your thought of this from your "ideals", now as far as the ideals go you don't need that either. i would skip the whole thing til it made you feel guilty and you evaluated your anniversary as a opportunity to give her a gift certificate so that she can get something that is expensive to her and it does come cheap to you but don't bring it up.

Presenting a live flowering plant from rooted gifts will be a great choice of gifting for anniversary.

cheap!? Dude, we know when stuff is cheap, and we don't like cheap. For an anniversary, take her out to a FANCY resturant (cheap don't cut it buddy), make her breakfast in bed, do some chores around the house that you can do, but don't do it anyways cause you figure she can (like take out the trash, hand wash dishes, etc etc) and tahdah!

You posted this in the wrong category. Your question has nothing to do with immigration.
Well, you can always give her what my brother-in-law (who is a Mexican from Mexico) gave my sister for their anniversary.......a bunch of plastic poinsettias, no vase.

Besides, spending time with her and taking her out to dinner...how about you guys go to a photographer place such as the ones at the mall and get your pics taken to mark the occasion.

A nice card, some flowers, and dinner. Fast, cheap, and the women love it.
