Escrow closed and they can not change the rental agreements until Nov.1.We do not know who they are as of yet and not sure what to do here .I would love to pay ,but to whom ?

Yep. Keep paying to the same place as before until officially notified of the change.

I agree with the previous answers. Until you are officially notified in writing by your "old" landlord or an agent representing them, you must assume that it is business as usual. The only thing I would do is to make sure you keep receipts of payment until such time as everything is settled.

You never know what kind of deal the "old" landlord may have with the "new" landlord, and the last thing you want to do is upset either one.

Pay your old landlord. He is then required to give that money to the new one and an accurate accounting of who what etc.
