I've been downloading songs from limewire for over sometime and i have 490 songs on file. When i want to download more it keeps saying "need more sources" and doesn't download. what does that mean? Does it have to do with the number of songs i have on file?

Hello, what is means that, not enougth people(sources)have the song you are trying to download.try down loading a bit later in the evening when more people are on line and might have the songs you want.just to let you know you have no limit on the amount of songs you download:just dont do to many at once .might slow things down a bit .hope that helps.keep up burning..

Well when you download a song you must have a strong connection. If the connection is low from the person your downloading it from it will say needs more sources.

I don't think so. "Need More Sources" just means that the song you're looking for doesn't have any/enough hosts (or at lest, that's my best guess). Ones with more hits (displayed on the left of the title) will likely have someone online to host it.
Good luck!

Lime Wire is really an untrustworthy service.I had it for awhile and I could never get it to work right. Also it has alot of viruses which may be your problem.Do a Virus scan...Good luck.
