I have 2 live versions, and for some reason, I don't think they are the same guy. I heard that there is one version by Jeffrey Gaines from Y100 Sonic Sessions: Vol. 2....is there another version out there? I like them both - just wondered if they were both Jeffrey Gaines.

There are quite a few covers and live version of it.
Youssou N'Dour did a live version with Gabriel in Senegal. (There is also a special 7:14 mix of this song, released to radio stations by Geffen Records with extended N'Dour vocals.)
Another live version is on Gabriel's live album 'Secret World Live'. It has Paula Cole on backing vocals, instead of Yossou N'Dour, and also features Congolese singer Papa Wemba.
Staind have done a version, and Nichole Nordeman also covered this song on her 2002 album 'Woven and Spun.' The band SR-71 also performed it live at the 2004 Gravity Games.
Just search the Net to track down these versions.
