Our teacher said these were all trick questions. I thought 7 days, but is that too obvious to be correct?

Zero, it won't run without winding.

It wants you to think it's too obvious so then you try and pick another answer thinking your wrong, that's why it's a 'trick question'. But if it's a 7 day grandfather clock. 7 meaning it lasts 7 days without being wound. Then, it should last 7 days, if wound before the seven days. If it isn't then it wouldn't last for any days. It wouldn't run at all. From what the question states it isn't wound so 0 days. =] Hope that helps.

Well they put "7 day clock" in there to throw you off. The real key words here are "without winding". If you never wind it it will not work at all. That's a good trick question though. Hope I helped and God Bless.

A 7-Day clock won't run at all if you don't wind it to begin with!

Hm... well, from what I read into it... if it's a 7-day clock but is not winded up, I would say it wouldn't run at all!

"without winding" I think is the key--it won't run at all if it's not wound up.
