You must first understand that Bill Clinton is a lying moralless bafoon with no respect for the White House and with little interest in war. Most democrats (are not typically as stupid as Clinton) are against war. Well, what if colonial America had not fought for its independence from England, or if the U.S. had not nuked Japan? AMERICANS WOULD BE ENSLAVED/KILLED IF DEMOCRATS CONTROLLED EVERYTHING!!! Isn't it obvious? If there was no war, then people who DO NOT have the best way of running things (U.S.S.R., Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda) would control the world. War does have bad side-effects, loss of money, loss of lives. But if America did not defend itself by sending troops to the Middle East after 9/11, we would all be living in fear almost like it was the Holocaust. It is in the U.S. constitution that Americans should have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (thank you John Locke), and that it is the government's job to protect these things. Democrats wish to stop war and that is unconstitutional.
Now that I've established that, Democrats also want to tax the rich and pay the poor. I know it might seem like a good idea at first, but think about it. If we taxed all wealthy people, and gave money to the poor people, it is wrong in three main ways: 1) From a psychological viewpoint, you are giving money (rewarding) to people who don't have their own money (bad) and taking money (punishing) from people who make their own money (good). WTF?! Rewarding bad and punishing good? Who thought of that? *cough...democrats...hack. cough* 2) From a Constitutional viewpoint, the government has NO RIGHT to take from anyone just because somebody else doesn't have as much. America is Capitalist, which means people are independent and earn money only if an employer sees it fit to hire this person or this person can create their own business. This governmental theory stuff brings me to my next point, 3) From a Political viewpoint, taxing the rich and paying the poor creates equal outcomes, whereas America was founded on the idea of equal opportunity. Equal outcomes is exactly the thinking of communists, and i think everybody reading this thinks communism is wrong.
Now that you understand that Democrats are unconstitutional, psychologically backwards communists, I think I can answer your question. Democrats only want you to see their good side. This is called propaganda, which is a direct cause of the formation of the Soviet Union. Democrats are evasive, unjust, and untrustworthy

You seem to have forgotten when it was the other way around.
The minority party's roll is not to solve the problems the other group created. Of course some of the problems were created by the Dems but the guy in power gets the credit and the blame. Who got us here, look in the mirror, we, the idiots that vote, pick these kind of people. I assume you vote if not please say so and I'll forget this whole thing.

Close. But its not really about power, each party would gladly share power.
It is about the money that power brings. The party in office gets the lion share of the political donations (everyone loves a winner) and gets the majority of donations from special interest groups and corporations to influence favorable legislation.
The current two party system is corrupt. And like most corruption it's basis is in the money available.

it takes two sides to fight. Republicans had no respect for Clinton when he was in office and worked to stop him at every chance they had from the day the man was sworn into office. Republicans started this atmosphere of partisanship, not Democrats. But we wont sit back and take it anymore.

Of course it's for power. That's the basic nature of politics.
Right now, the Democratic party has no power. So, they are fighting to get power from those who have it. Ccurrently, that's the Republican majority.

Why would democrats help republicans remove liberties, and ruin our country?
Think of it this way, republicans have shown no restraint in anything involving legislation. Democrats are merely trying to balancing them.
I'm not going to support anyone who would bankrupt the government as badly as the republicans have. Nor would I support any group that would send unqualified people to Iraq to rebuild instead of experts. Therefore I will not support republicans as long as they continue this trend.

Because as of today, I haven't heard a good dem solution. So what do they have left, only to complain and stamp their feet and come up with little cheers to use at protests. If liberal lawmakers would present some real good solutions or ideas, perhaps there could be some dialog.

Like when Republicans were saying Clinton was only trying to divert attention from Monica when he was trying to fight terrorism.
Like when Republicans were obstructing Clinton from fighting terrorism!
Maybe it is for the good of America.

Don't worry.. republicans do it too when dems are in power.
They both act the same in stupid situations... just a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils.

I heard one Republican on here say he "just want to see the Republicans win so I can keep thumbing my nose at the Democrats".
So the reverse may be true.
