Thought of Miss Muffet but exactly what would I wear so people would know who I was? Not crazy bout this one...any ideas?

A web would be real cute.
To be Miss Muffet dress in an old fashioned type little girl dress and carrying a bowl and spoon.

Miss Muffet must have a picture in some web site or book, but you have a point, being dark, people might not understand who you are.

May be if you embroidered or painted a bowl and spoon with "curds"on it and a glass or jar with the word "whey" on the skirt or bodice of a Victorian outfit people would know who you are supposed to be.
Otherwise I can only recommend the spiderweb, or the mammy spider.

Miss Muffett was the first thing I thought of , but if you don't want to do that... you could be the sun from the eensy weensy spider song....that's all I can think of that would go with a spider.

Is she small enough that you would be holding her?
How about you get a white or gray sweat suit and paint with fabric paints a big spider web on the whole outfit. Cheap and cute.

i'm petrified by ability of Spiders ever considering that i observed a action picture with them killing human beings. no longer 8 legged Freaks even though it become one concerning to the black widow. I observed it while i become approximately 5 and that i'm scarred for all times
