Are you sure you even need a DJ? Can you pull together a playlist on your computer and burn CDs?
Or even better, can you have a friend with an iPod put together a playlist for your party and then you can hook up the iPod to the stereo system? That's what I did for my nephew's birthday/pool party (6 hours of music that everyone loved) and my friend recently used his iPod instead of a DJ for his wedding reception (they were on a budget too).

so you have 200 bucks JUST for the DJ? So I assume it's also a couple hundred or more for food and drinks and etc etc, that's not really the worst budget i've ever heard of, i think mommy and daddy may be taken for granted here, reflect on that, but dont take it offensively or as anything other than constructive criticism. There are alot of cheap shitty DJ's here in FL, I live about 4 miles from Cocoa Beach, I organized a DJ for a Junior Prom Dance he was $169 bucks for the night, of 3 hours, and he sucked the worst. Old songs, songs nobody knew, long delays between songs, the speakers would make cracking noises sometimes, no fog machine or anythine, just a disco ball that was very gay so just remember that you always get what you pay for.

you in worry-free words requested about a turntable, no longer software. Do you've the right software. As suggested in the previous, digital DJ will paintings. there's a huge variety of alternative software also. diverse software has diverse interfaces, yet each and every thing works a similar way. you've some variety of turntable, some track participant and some thanks to plug both issues mutually. The turntable retains a organic time that you'll manage manually. The software understand the organic time of the turntable and would listen the differences to that aspect. It differences the track record that it really is surely taking section in to verify the differences interior the turntable. Now, the turntable that you make the most of should be restricted through the computer application that you make the most of. once you note the adult men with a 'authentic' turntable and archives, they're making use of time code vinyl. The record is quite merely something that retains time for the equipment. The outputs that would routinely pass to a mixer are going to an enter for the computer. those days, they actually have timecode CDs should you use the digital turntables and nonetheless opt to scratch. There are also controllers that do not require CDs or archives, yet should be setup to paintings with the equipment. you opt to pick on your software and then %. from the nicely matched controllers.

Is there a way to have high speed internet connection where you will have that party?
If so, you can rent a dj incl. internet stream for $20/hr.
Which is cool, especially because even the people that can't physically be at your party can listen and at least get the music.
It would be a radio show just for your party!
