I only had so many letters to use in that question. I was just curious why Wonder Woman wears the stars and colors of America when she is from an ancient Amazonian island?
(not that I don't like her costume, heh.)

because when she was still on the island Steve Trevor crashed his plane and the color scheme of her costume was taken from the american flag patch on Col. Trevor's uniform.

Because she was sent as an emissary to "man's world" (America being the symbol for the male-dominated world), her costume was chosen to show respect for the culture she was going to visit.

But I have to tell you my favorite wonder woman joke!
Wonder woman was sun bathing on a rock nude in the middle of no where............ and Superman see her.
Always having a thing for her, Superman flies down and starts making crazy mad love to her.
When finished- Super ask Wonder woman how was the "man of steel"???
