dont be freaked out by the guy who said something about scale rott... its a tottaly diferent thing.. your snake is going into blue... just mist his tank dayly and make sure his hummidity is up.... if he sheads in more than one or two pieces then your hummidity is to low and there are some things you should change about your husbantry..

if he sheds in one piece then your all good.

most likely but When a snake starts the shedding process, first, it will loose his appetite, get real sluggish and temperamental it's skin will get dull, not just orange, when it's eyes turn a cloudy blue, that's when you will most likely get bit because it is actually blind at that point and it wont take much to spook him or her even if it's not known to bite. after it sheds, it will get real active mainly because it's in hunting mode thus, you should have food ready for it, a live rat, rabbit, goat, what ever it's used to eating and depending on it's size. Our last Burmese python was 7 feet long when my brother bought her and 18 and a half feet long when she passed so ... for us, it was a goat every four to six months. Hope this helps! :)

This might be a sign of shedding, but if it doesn't shed soon, it might be scale rot. That could cause discoloration of the belly. If that is the case, you can rub snake oil (sold at any pet store) on it's belly to help it heal or it might need to go to the vet to get a medication that you rub on it.

Yes. Also his eyes will turn gray/blue. After a few days his eyes will clear up again and he'll shed a day or two after that.
