I for one don't like it because it's like a person gets on that be cause they're desperate to make friends. So they go on myspace. what do you thinK?

I don't mind it. I've been on it for a few months now. I"ve got in contact with some friends of mine from high school. It depend on how much you put your self out there. Doesn't matter where you go on the net, your not safe. If you want to be safe, then don't use the internet.

I like myspace because you can see people you went to school with that you haven't heard from in a long time. Just because you choose yahoo to make a profile and not myspace doesn't mean your not desperate and others are. Not everyone is bad on the site.

I agree with Emily W. Just stick to yahoo because I feel that myspace is for people who are lonely and who want to make friends for the wrong reasons. I'm 17, and i have friends who have a myspace and they ask me why I don't have one and I always tell them the same thing. So i juat hate it.

I absolutely can not stand the thought of myspace. It's way overrated. Everyone keeps telling me I should get a myspace but I definitely will not just jump onto the bandwagon.

Myspace rocks my socks. I think you're right about some people getting on there becuz they're desperate for people to talk to, but I'm one of the people on there who actually has a life. A whole crap load of my friends are on too, and they live all over America becuz I used to travel alot, and it's an easy way to keep in contact with them. I don't add the people you're talking about, so... there are ways to enjoy it.

I like myspace, personally. My favorite thing to do it check out my friends who are not so close anymore to see what they're up to now. I love doing that!
The music on myspace is good too. You can add your favorite bands to your friends and check out their new music.
There's lots of support groups on there too for people who need that.
Anything is only as good as you make it.

I think my space is great. I found two cousins one who lives in Georgia and one in Florida, that I have not talked to in over 9 years. We lost contact due to moving ext...
Also I have found people I went to high school with and lost touch with after graduation.
So I believe it is a great way to find people you have lost contact with. I am married so would not know if it good for dating but for friends and family it is great.
