My 12 year old daughter and her friend want to have a birthday party together. Do you have any ideas on what we could do? They are girly and love to party and have a lot of fun. Do you have any ideas?

Have a party called the glitz and glam party. You can go to the dollar store and get party favors like nail polish lip stick fake nails nail filers cotton calls nail polish remover sponge rollers, you get my point and just order pizza and rent Grease! For desert have them make their own sundae with any topping they want. Or if they want to invite boys just have music pizza and games.Just ask the girls what they have in mind and compromise.

I rented out an aquatic center with 2 hot tubs-1 for kids & 1 for parents. There was a slide that went outside, around a tree & back in for the splash ending. They have a wave machine also. Everyone loved it! If that's not possible, you could do the usual "make overs" junk food, cake, music, video & sleepover.
If weather permits you could go to a zoo, have the party at a park (less clean up for Mom) go on a scavenger hunt (that takes some planning but fun) If there's a kids club you could take them there for dancing or if roller skating rinks are still around you could have a party there.
OK I'm out of ideas.

Hmm well it depends on how many girls would be involved maybe you could have a slumber party. Have 4 or 5 girls no more than 7 or you'll go crazy. Have them come over about 8 at night they can have music and play games and prank call people and just laugh for hours they'll be asleep by midnight and then in the morning have them some breakfast and send them on their way home. Maybe you can go to like Target and get a bunch of discount make-up only fun colors like green, blue , pink, and stuff. Keep it simple junk food music and dress up.

I wish I could remember the name of the company but locally here in Vancouver, B.C. there is this company that sends a rep. out and they bring tons of makeup and dress up clothes etc. and have a girls night for preteens. It could probably be done on your own too. Put on some music and let them go nuts. Buy some disposable cameras to let them remember the night. And of course make it a sleepover! Have fun....I have two boys so I can only imagine the fun you could have :)

For heaven's sake...don't hire a clown.
You could do a make-up party to teach them what colours are nice for them how to apply it properly. They will be likely wearing it to highschool soon.
